you belong at the Clark family Cultural Center.

We tell stories - stories of people just like you; stories of people who aren't. Our mission is to create access to a space for the public where no matter what your story is, you can find your community, your voice, your passion, yourself, and your center.

The Center is retelling its story, and this new chapter begins with a $5,000,000 redesign to better connect the community to the cultural hub at its core. From Pensacola’s premier rooftop performance venue to a new fine art gallery - The Center has community front of mind.

From naming a theatre seat to joining The Top Tier, there are limited opportunities to get involved in the legacy left, and we join you to become part of the story.

Since November 2021, The Center has received more than $4M in donations to support our reimagination. From the legacy naming of The Clark Family Cultural Center building by the family of Dave and Cynthia Clark to other phenomenal members of the community showing their support - The Center exudes community.

an elevated experience.

The Center’s redesign introduces Pensacola’s premier rooftop performance venue with sweeping views of Pensacola Bay. Whether catching a sip before the show or reading your vows over a sunset, The Top of The Center features a stage, lounge, bar, catering kitchen, private dining nook, and local performances.

Take it from the top.

For a limited time, The Top of The Center is taking its first and only founding members.

Join The Top Tier to be one of fifty-only founders and receive access to rental opportunities, exclusive events, and a permanent naming on Pensacola’s premier rooftop performance venue.

Reimagined theatre seating. Curated acoustics. Revitalized fine art gallery.

The Center’s historic atrium repurposes as Pensacola’s sense of arrival - a public parlor for creative collaboration and cocktail.

100 days. 100 seats. $100,000.

100 days. 100 seats. $100,000.

PLT will receive a $100,000 grant from the State of Florida Department of Cultural Affairs to match $100,000 raised to replace every seat in the theatre’s redesign.

BUT - we only have 100 days to make the match.

Over the next 100 days, you can help PLT raise our match goal by naming 100 new theatre seats - and then this grant will double the impact of your support. For every $1,000 donated through April 1, PLT will name the best seat in the house just for you.

Designing the next 100 years.

The Center creates a renewed sense of arrival in downtown Pensacola, where community and culture are at the center of everything we do. We are embarking on a $4 million journey to revitalize and modernize the building from the inside out, creating a space that honors our history while complementing the progression of our city and its people.

Our vision enhances The Center with versatile interior and exterior areas that are both grand and functional, accommodating both expansive and intimate events alike.

Building on our history. Reimagining our future.

Built in 1911, our building once served as a county jail complete with third-floor gallows and its own courtroom. It evolved through the decades, eventually becoming the “Pensacola Cultural Center” in 1988 and transitioning into the present-day cultural hub we now call home.

Each year, The Center serves as a home-away-from-home for over 1,000 volunteers, community actors, dancers, students, families, and organizations. As we look to the future, we plan to strategically redesign and reimagine our space to continue inspiring our participants and supporters, while also broadening our impact to welcome and enrich the lives of new audiences.

Where community is center stage.

The Center is home to Pensacola Little Theatre, Ballet Pensacola, Momentum Church, West Florida Literary Federation, IMPROVable Cause, EntreCon®, Pensacon, the Stamped LGBTQ+ Film Festival, and more. Our facility is a place where talent, heritage, arts education, and community collide.
